Dear valued players,
We regret to inform you of recent scamming activities that have occurred on our server. In light of these unfortunate incidents, we would like to clarify our policies and rules regarding such activities.
Please note that we, as the official InnotecCraft platform, have no control over any out-of-the-game gambling activities. Therefore, we cannot provide assistance or support to victims who have been scammed through unofficial channels.
However, if any scamming activities are found to have occurred within our game, we will promptly investigate the matter by reviewing logs and gathering evidence. We strongly encourage victims of these scams to collect evidence and report the incident to us as soon as possible. If the evidence clearly indicates that the victim was indeed victimized in a scamming activity, we will take appropriate action to punish the scammer and restore the stolen items to the victim.
It is important to note that common scamming activities on our platform include PvP item/money bets that involve hacked clients and item upgrading scams. If you encounter any suspicious activity while playing the game, we advise you to start your screen-recording software and gather evidence before it's too late.
Our priority is to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all our players. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the security of our community.
Sincerely,
The InnotecCraft Team
Dev report for spring term.
It has been a while since our last development review, and we are excited to share with you the latest updates and upcoming plans.
In our latest patch, we have re-enabled the PvP Festival due to popular demand, and increased the rewards by almost 50%. We have also made adjustments to the point rewarding system and extended the duration of the festival to three months. Additionally, we have introduced the new map, Lost Temple, as a transition map for the upcoming three maps that will provide a brand new and exciting experience for our players. These maps are scheduled to be released by the end of summer.
Our first-ever Disaster Crusade, featuring Hou-Yi the Sun God, is now available. With six different phases, each stronger than the last, this event offers more rewards than ever before. Designed to limit skill-boosting activities, we aim to prevent corrupting the game-environment.
We are also proud to present the biggest map ever released in InnotecCraft, Isla De Pelegostos. This pirate-themed map includes a brand new armor set with special abilities to access certain areas. We have also introduced the Mythological keyword concept, a mysterious and adventurous world that primarily runs on "Mythological Energy". Players can use this energy to identify, redeem, craft, or even power mythological machines, altars, and rituals. We plan to add more ways to receive Mythological Energy in the future.
In response to players' suggestions, we have adapted the concept of identifying unknown items, making them only usable after identification, keeping them mysterious and lore-compatible. We have also introduced the Mythological Pickaxe, the only extraction item available in the mythological world currently. In the upcoming update, we plan to open up the prestige system for the pickaxe, allowing players to upgrade to higher materials such as stone, iron, gold, and diamond.
Lastly, we have revamped the Blackrock Mountain, one of the oldest maps in InnotecCraft, with a more beginner-friendly design. We have added more mobs, increased the drop chance for certain items, and introduced mini-bosses to provide more challenging activities for beginners.
Now, looking ahead of upcoming content we plan to release.
We have added more maps to the mythological world, which will offer challenging gameplay. These maps are abandoned fairy lair and stardust valley, and their difficulty will increase in order of their release. To enhance the game experience, we are introducing new concepts such as a contribution system that will enable players to offer their offerings to the Gods in the dream realm. In return, they shall be blessed and rewarded. We have many more such concepts in the pipeline, and we will keep you updated on their development progress.
In addition, we are planning to revamp some of our old maps to make them more beginner-friendly, catering to the needs of early-game players. These maps include Inu's Rest, Shrine of the Ocean, Heart of the Sea, Trenia, Island Balvic, and Dwarf Mines. We will prioritize these revamps after the release of certain updates to ensure late-game players have ample content to explore, while we focus on providing more support to new players.
Our upcoming scheduled releases will focus on the late-game elements, including new maps, bosses, and new grinding activities. We aim to keep you all engaged and entertained with our new releases.
server environment report
To make room for future data, we have cleared out old saved files from before 2021. Additionally, we have temporarily disabled the anti-cheat system as we introduce new features that may trigger false alarms. However, we have manually banned over 10,000 players for cheating and 3,000 accounts for using bots to script or farm while away. We are working on implementing a new anti-cheat system for the next big update. If you encounter a potential cheater, please use the /report function. Since introducing new anti-boosting measures, we have seen a significant decrease in the number of banned bots and scripted accounts. We will continue to update our policies to ensure a safe and fair environment for all players. To address player feedback, we have also improved the memory allocation on the hub server to reduce lag during high player count periods. Furthermore, we have created a limbo server for players who have been inactive for more than 15 minutes to free up space for those wanting to play different game modes.
Game policy changes
Following an internal discussion among our administrative team, we have decided to update our policy guidelines as follows:
Players are now permitted to use in-game currency to purchase 3rd party services.
We will no longer restrict players to owning only three accounts. Players may possess as many accounts as they wish, but they are prohibited from trading rewards between accounts or repeatedly participating in giveaways using multiple accounts to increase their chances of winning.
Thank you for reading up to here! inno-dev
