In Dev Review, we will be gathering our devs idea for current and future development / plans to get players into expecting what will be coming and why certain updates were made.
First of all, let's talk about the current contents. We listened to player's opinion, we made Island wise update, including spawner drops, spawner balancing, mineral usage and even obtaining spawners.
In the past months, we have seen a massive boost in economy as players are able to get a passive income through their Island by farming or selling mob drops.
Then, we have new areas, the drop of the South Sea and the mysterious Islands were a success. Mid-End Game players are able to find a new area to grind and raise their game difficulty, introducing season 2 world bosses and harder types of mobs. This effectively spread different level players into different areas, which made more spaces for beginners/ early game players to enjoy the gameplay.
Following the revamp of Dragon's Altar, we introduced a brand new mechanic called extraction. Although we have only officially released two recipes for that, more is yet to come. Currently on the market, we have more than 10,000 Furiousaur Sample and more than 100,000 Samples were extracted. This is showing that people are loving the mechanic in return, more recipes will be coming very soon!
Then, it's the new class, a lot of people are rating it with a very high score, nearly over-powered. This class was designed to fit late-mid/end-game players as the fee to unlock the class is significant. And the skills rotations, mechanics requires high proficiency. Therefore early game players are recommended to stick with the 4 original classes able to profess at the Sky Temple.
Then, we will be reviewing plans for future development which they are all entitled to change and amend.
First, we plan to release new recipes for extraction materials.
Second, we already scheduled the release of race, which every race would provide a unique buff which is probably a good idea to select a matching race and class.
Third, we are planning to release another core mechanic, herb gathering which players will be able to gether custom herbs around the map to craft potions, artifacts or even other special use.
Fourth, another end map which is designed for end-game players that have already accomplished most of the content in the Dragon's Altar which you will be able to reach their by talking to the Extraction Co. Manager Herbert at the port. The map will also consists of dragon boss fights, which we will be significantly increasing the difficulty of them. In return, the drops are unique and powerful.
Fifth, the contents in Ozaran is almost coming to an end, one last map is awaiting to release which is the Atlantis. The map was built ages ago but we still haven't yet manage to add contents into it. As the story lines goes further, we are considering either removing the map or rebuilding the map to match our lore contents. In the meanwhile, we might release the first map of the next realm, Iron Empire which was planned to release last summer and of course, due to mis-planning and certain uncertainty with the idea of focusing on finishing the content in Ozaran, we cancelled the launch. How about the Sea of Lypsor? Yes we didn't forget about it, there are 3 maps left to release and 1 of them will act as a "hub-like" map, 1 will act as a mini-map for players to access the "dead-man-chest" using the dead man chest key fragments dropped from the world boss and the other one will act as a normal PvE grinding map.
